CNC turning is a machining process that uses a rotating workpiece and a fixed cutting tool to create round parts like shafts, bushings, and threaded rods. It’s ideal for parts that are symmetric around a central axis.
Common in industries like automation, aerospace, electronics, and medical devices, CNC turning offers fast production, excellent surface finishes, and tight tolerances — making it perfect for both prototypes and large-volume parts.
We support a wide range of metals and plastics to meet different project needs — from strength and durability to weight and appearance.
The table below lists the most common materials we work with, but we can also machine others — including titanium, PEEK, PTFE, or customer-supplied materials upon request.
Not sure which material is best for your part? Just ask — we’ll help you choose the right one.
Our standard tolerances for CNC turned parts follow ISO 2768-mK or customer-specified drawings. For most applications, the following tolerances apply:
High-precision tolerance capability: up to ±0.01 mm (±0.0004″), upon request
Standard thread tolerances: per ISO or ANSI/ASME thread specifications
Surface finish (as-turned): 3.2 μm Ra or better
Concentricity and runout: dependent on geometry, can be held to < 0.02 mm for precision parts
If your part requires tighter tolerances or has critical features (like fits, threads, sealing surfaces), please specify them clearly in your drawings. We review every order to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
Custom shafts, bushings, spacers, and couplers used in assembly lines and mechanical systems.
Small precision parts like pins, inserts, and sensor housings machined from stainless steel or PEEK.
Lightweight turned parts such as threaded fasteners and alignment pins with tight tolerances.
Brass and plastic turned connectors, cases, and insulating parts used in electronic assemblies.
Highly Efficient for Round and Axial PartsCNC turning is the best choice for round components like shafts, bushings, spacers, and threaded parts — offering great speed and repeatability, even for complex designs.
Tight Tolerances & Smooth Surface FinishOur CNC lathes can achieve tolerances down to ±0.01 mm and deliver consistent, clean surfaces — ideal for press fits, sealing surfaces, and moving parts.
Cost-Effective for Prototypes & ProductionTurning is one of the most efficient ways to machine rotational parts, helping you cut lead time and lower costs — whether you’re ordering 10 pieces or 10,000.
Versatile in Materials & DesignWe work with aluminum, stainless steel, brass, POM, nylon, and more — handling features like grooves, undercuts, tapers, and other custom geometries with ease.
We work with a wide range of metals and plastics — aluminum, stainless steel, brass, copper, POM (Delrin), nylon, and more. Not sure which one to use? Just ask — we’ll help you choose.
Absolutely. We support small runs starting from just 10 pieces. Perfect for testing a design or starting small.
Standard tolerance is ±0.05 mm, but we can go as tight as ±0.01 mm if needed. Just let us know in your drawing.
Yes — we can arrange anodizing, plating, polishing, sandblasting, powder coating, and more. Tell us the finish you need, and we’ll make it happen.
Samples usually take 3–7 days. Production lead time depends on the part and quantity — but we always aim to deliver fast and on time.
Yes. If you have a 2D drawing, a sketch, or even a sample photo, send it over. We’ll review and confirm what’s possible.
Yes, we ship worldwide — via DHL, FedEx, or other couriers. Let us know your country and shipping preference, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Just send us your 3D file (STEP/STL), quantity, material, and any special requirements. You’ll get a quote within 12 hours — often faster.
Want a fast quote? Just upload your file on our form — we’ll take care of the rest.
Yes. We can include RoHS certificates, material composition reports, and full QC inspection reports if needed — just mention it when you place the order.
STEP, STP, STL, IGES, PDF — we work with most standard formats. If you’re unsure, just send what you have.
Yes, we can provide a prototype or sample run for confirmation — especially helpful if your part has special requirements.
